About Wada Digital Lab
Wada Digital Lab writes about everyday problems on the Mac, and how to fix them. We also make apps for the Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Our motto is “Bringing energy to Japan through digital tools.” We make handy tools that take care of the small things, together with the people who use them.
What we write about
The small things that trip people up when they use a Mac every day. Most of our articles use features that are already built into the Mac. You can find the English articles on the blog.
What we do
- The blog started in August 2026 in Japanese. The first English article came out in September 2026.
- We post videos on YouTube in a series called Mac Tricks.
- We make and sell apps. KoeShot is available in English.
How we write our articles
- For Mac features, we check each step and each setting name against Apple’s own support pages. Since September 28, 2026, we link to those pages at the end of each article.
- We try every step on a real Mac before we write it. Since September 28, 2026, each article also notes the Mac model, the macOS version and the date we checked.
- When something comes only from Apple’s description and we have not seen it ourselves, we say so.
- Blog articles never show prices or buy buttons. When we mention one of our own apps, we say it is ours and link to its product page with plain text.
- When a macOS update changes the steps, we fix the article and show the date we updated it.
